We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities :

Technical Support : Provide timely and effective IT support for lab equipment, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.

User Assistance : Assist scientists with technical issues related to their lab equipment, offering solutions and guidance to ensure minimal disruption to their research activities.

Equipment Management : Monitor and maintain lab equipment to ensure optimal performance, including regular updates and preventive maintenance.

Training : Conduct training sessions for scientists to help them understand and utilize lab equipment and software effectively.

Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of support activities, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Collaboration : Work closely with scientists and other IT team members to identify and resolve technical challenges, and to implement improvements to lab technology.

Vendor Coordination : Liaise with equipment vendors for support, repairs, and upgrades as needed.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
