As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Control Driver in Tacoma, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As an Access Control Officer within a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and assets. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Thur03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business interior and perimeter.

Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Communicate with site staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence.

Assist with access control processes to help to deter breaches and unauthorized access.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
