About The Position

• Performs radiologic mammography exams per department protocol including advanced Mammography procedures like stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, drainages.
• Perform the quality control functions related to mammography.
• Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner.
• Perform high quality radiologic and mammography exams on incoming patients.
• Assess patient’s medical condition, age, size and other related medical conditions to determine if patient is able to undergo mammography examination and to how best to obtain optimal results / images.
• Assume responsibility for mammography equipment and reports equipment malfunction.
• Demonstrates the ability to operate mammography and biopsy equipment properly.
• Conducts daily, weekly and monthly QC testing to ensure the quality control functions related to mammography.

BLS, ARRT and VA state License.
