Inova Data Management and Business Intelligence is looking for a dedicated Manager of Clinical Business Intelligence to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time day shift working Monday - Friday located in Fairfax, VA.
The Manager of Clinical Business Intelligence oversees the operations of our data platforms to support end-to-end aspects of Data Analytics at Inova. Responsible for a team of Business Intelligence Developers responsible for varied analytics applications. Responsible for daily and ongoing management and oversight of implementation, installation, training, and service / support of these applications. Manages medium to large complex IT Projects and be responsible for all aspects of project management and for keeping projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Mentors project team members and provides direction and management to direct reports and all employees in department. Handles employee relations and staff development for direct reports; develops goals and manages fiscal activities of the department.

Manager of Clinical Business Intelligence Responsibilities :
Oversees the operations of our data platforms to support end-to-end aspects of Data Analytics at Inova. Responsible for a team of Business Intelligence Developers, Data Architects and Data Engineers responsible for varied analytics applications.Analyzes business requirements for new system requests, system upgrades, and system replacements to ensure compatibility with IT standards and successful implementation. Determines if the requested functionality exists within an existing IT System or if a new system is required to meet the business needs. Manages system selection process, as needed. Serves as the IT liaison for processing requests for new systems, procurements, moves, and other facility or business unit IT initiatives.Leads the set up KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and SLA (Service Level Agreement) for all Analytics solutions to optimize the organization's investment on BI software and hardware.Oversees use of BI / Data Analytics platforms including on premises or Cloud platforms.Manages the performance of team members and leads the team to create and implement an industry-leading BI solution. Ensures the team manages efficient operational schedules and applies best practices on workflow / control on day-to-day system activities.Manages the analyst team in gathering, documenting, and designing data integration and data visualization report usages, migration, access control, monitoring, forecasting and auditing needs.Shares expertise with team members; provides coaching and guidance to develop talent and cross-functional capabilities and optimize team member engagement. Delegates authority and empowers team members to make decisions.Work with Data Architects, users and IT professionals on strategies necessary to store, move, and manage data & report codes on all analytical platforms.Leverages innovation by overseeing the implementation of operational strategies and support solutions integration and rollout (guide the Operations team to manage data source connections, report code asset, security, network, storage and server management).Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business Administrator or other relevant fieldExperience : 5 years of progressively responsible experience. Previous experience in a healthcare environment. 5 years of Epic technology experience.Certifications : Epic cogito certificationPreferred Qualifications :
Multiple Epic data model certifications preferred.Previous manager experience preferred.
