Senior Site Reliability Engineer / Los Angeles, CA / Hybrid

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Los Angeles, CA, hybrid work arrangement.

Overview

A large gaming company is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team based in Los Angeles. This role is part of a team of Site Reliability Engineers solving live services challenges at a global scale, with emphasis on the execution and operations of multiple games, internal products, and future unreleased games.

Responsibilities

  • Build tooling, automation, or cloud-native solutions to mitigate problems
  • Provide expertise and on-call support for specific games or platforms in rotations
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers and studio members
  • Provide mentorship and foster growth within the team
  • Develop strategies to implement Infrastructure as Code in the cloud and ensure successful deployment

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Experience working with Perforce at an administrative level
  • Experience in Unreal Engine environments and ecosystems (UE5)
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, Golang
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation

  • Base pay ranges from 125K-225K
