Product Acceptance Specialist

Location : O'Fallon, IL

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Schedule : First Shift | Monday - Friday | 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 / 4 : 00 PM

Contract Type : Contract

Pay Rate : $20 / hr - $24 / hr

About the Role :

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector who thrives in a detail-oriented setting and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and regulatory requirements. This role ensures product conformance through rigorous inspection, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Verify routine product compliance with design specifications and engineering documentation.

Provide objective evidence of inspection results.

Conduct audits, process surveillance, and identify / document any discrepancies.

Manage non-conforming products : perform preliminary reviews, segregate and control items, and document appropriately.

Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauge controls, and indicators.

Review certification documents and ensure traceability per AS9100 standards.

Collaborate with vendors as needed to ensure proper documentation and quality compliance.

Lead or mentor junior inspection team members, offering guidance on quality protocols and equipment use.

Maintain and utilize Customer Designated Supplier Quality Representative stamps (at least three customers, as required).

Basic Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection or related field.

Proficient in the use of calipers, ring / pin gauges, comparator, and SmartScope.

Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance inspection methods including First Article Inspection.

Strong skills using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Must meet export control compliance as a "U.S. Person" (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).

Preferred Qualifications :

Prior experience in the aerospace or high-precision manufacturing sector.

Familiarity with AS9100 standards and practices.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under limited supervision.
