Maintenance Technician II

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for providing general building maintenance and supporting the mechanical needs of the facility to prevent unplanned downtime. Welding and fabrication skills will be utilized to manufacture frames and equipment needed.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.
• Weld and fabricate test bench frames by use of ARC and MIG welding and required fixtures.
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify and address complex technical issues.
• Operate Oxygen / Acetylene and plasma torches.
• Conduct scheduled test bench maintenance and required repairs on equipment.
• Complete facility repairs as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools demonstrating precision, safety, and efficiency in completing tasks.
• Follow 6S concepts while completing tasks.
• Perform general facility maintenance.
• Complete basic carpentry and painting tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including detailed logs of inspections, repairs, modifications, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and logistics teams to coordinate maintenance projects, parts procurement, and technical support activities.
• Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
