Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Home Health with current VA license and recent specialty experience for a day shift travel contract.

Responsibilities

  • Home Health position covering the regions of Gloucester, Saluda, Urbanna, Waterview, and West Point in VA
  • Day shift schedule, five days per week from 8 : 00 to 16 : 30
  • Expected to see approximately 5 patients per day
  • May float to other regions or assignments based on facility needs
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Travelers may not work Riverside Travel assignments while on Riverside Per Diem contracts
  • All time-off requests must be approved prior to assignment; limit of seven days off for the duration of the contract
  • Prior permanent employees must have a six-month break before travel eligibility
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same base rate
  • May be required to provide a copy of driver's license and SSN for employment

    • Requirements

  • Current active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia or compact license (license required if applicable)
  • Allied health certifications and licenses must be current
  • Recent experience in specialty within the last year required
  • Two references required for consideration, including one supervisory reference
  • Experience using EPIC EMR is required
