Solar Impact Inc. is searching for an experienced Solar Installer / Electrician to join our growing operations department. The person in this role is responsible for efficiently installing solar and electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following traits :
- 3-5 years of solar and electrical experience
- Willing to participate in the Electrical Apprenticeship program
- Hands-on experience with NEC
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- High attention to detail and attention to process
- Working knowledge of digital devices and programs
- Strong work ethic and ambition to succeed

Compensation : $17 - $22 per hour

3 to 5 years of prior electrical experience or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program strongly preferredA valid driver's license and insurability are requiredA High School Diploma or GED is requiredMust be capable of working at great heightsAble to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for prolonged periodsMust be able to stand for 10-hour shiftsMust be able to lift at least 75 poundsMust comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirementsMust be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperaturesAvailability to work overtime and weekends is requiredElectrical Apprentices must be willing to attend night classesSafety is a top priority.
