Description :

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop manufacturing plans for aerospace details and assemblies.
  • Select the most efficient manufacturing method to optimize profitability, quality and lead time.
  • Coordinate with production personnel to ensure producibility of parts.
  • Identify raw materials, standards and outside processing requirements
  • Assist with the maintenance of engineering drawings utilizing 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, MasterCAM)
  • Assist with the resolution of manufacturing problems.
  • Act as a role model to staff and participants, displaying proper work ethics and behaviors.
  • Work with colleagues to review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements : Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, with 2 or more years of experience in an aerospace environment preferred.
  • Detailed knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System requirements.
  • Experience using Epicor and / or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Continual Process Improvement, Time studies, LEAN Manufacturing, JIT, and Scheduling basics
  • Strong organizational program management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Occasional exposure to excess noise levels, occasionally necessitating the use of Hearing Protection.
