Controller – Contract-to-Hire

Location : Orlando, FL (100% Onsite)

Pay : Up to $60 / hour

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting leadership with strategic insights and decision-making. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in manufacturing accounting and strong technical skills in WIP, percentage of completion, transfer pricing, and related areas .

Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manage percentage of completion, WIP schedules, and transfer pricing

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for multiple profit centers

Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external audit requirements

Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations

Maintain and improve processes using RFMS and NetSuite

Mentor and support accounting staff as needed

Qualifications

Active CPA license (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

7+ years of progressive accounting / finance experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role

Strong background in manufacturing accounting (percentage of completion, WIP, transfer pricing)

Hands-on experience with RFMS and NetSuite preferred

Proven ability to manage multi-entity operations and revenue centers

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and organizational abilities
