The Opportunity :
Our client is a well-established company with over 60 years of history, specializing in low-quantity, high-quality precision parts - usually 1 to 24 pieces that are generally hand-held size. This isn't high-volume production—it's high-skill craftsmanship.
Your Role and Responsibilities :
As a CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator , you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of part production on Mazak Turning Centers . You must be able to program and run a job from start to finish at the controller .
- Program, Set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes to perform complex machining operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications with high proficiency.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet exacting quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to settings to maintain product quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve production processes.

Required Experience : Minimum of 3 years of CNC Programming experience.Mazak Expertise : Previous experience programming Mazak CNC lathe machines is required .Programming Skill : Must be familiar and comfortable with programming at the controller .Technical Acumen : Strong ability to read blueprints and a solid knowledge of precision measuring instruments for quality control.Location : Northwest Milwaukee area.Compensation and Benefits :
