Responsibilities Automotive Service Advisor :

Greet customers promptly and professionally, building trust and rapport

Accurately write up repair orders and communicate concerns to technicians

Provide clear explanations of recommended services, pricing, and timelines

Follow up with customers on repair progress, updates, and completion

Maintain communication between the customer, service team, and parts department

Review completed work with the customer and process payment

Actively promote maintenance services and specials to increase hours per RO

Ensure excellent customer satisfaction by resolving concerns quickly

Coordinate with technicians and the service department to ensure timely repairs

Clearly explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way

Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Requirements / Qualifications Automotive Service Advisor :

Previous automotive service advisor or dealership experience preferred (but not required with strong customer service background)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Computer proficiency with DMS and scheduling software

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes a plus

Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities

Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Ability to present maintenance and repair services as value-driven without being pushy

Customer-first mindset : listens actively and explains clearly

Energetic and engaging personality that creates customer loyalty and retention

Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills
