OVERVIEW :
The electrician supervisor supervises and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Follow all manufacturing procedures & checklist
- Enforce company safety policies & procedures
- Maintain 5S in all work areas as assigned
- Meet labor goals and shipping deadlines
- Supervise employees and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers specifications, and written and verbal instructions.
- Plan and schedules work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
- Assist in the establishment of preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
- Trains and instructs new employees.
- Prepare reports and analyses indicating work progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
- Supervise various personnel actions, including hiring, merit recommendations, promotions, transfers and vacation schedule.
- Use schematics and diagrams to layout and install conduit to NEC standards.
- Makeup and install J-Boxes with terminals and other peripheral devices.
- Pull, mark, and terminate wiring to motors, controls, and limit switches.
- Startup and troubleshoot 3-phase VFD motor controls systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair various building and machine systems in an industrial fabrication facility.
- Run or move conduit and wiring for new or related machines.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors.Knowledge of local electrical codes.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to perform mathematical calculations.Ability to use hand and power tools.Ability to manage electrical component inventoryAbility to use MS-office applications especially excel & AccessKnowledge of Electrical CADD a plusWORK ENVIRONMENT :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Min High school diploma or GED.Two years of formal technical training in the principles of electricity and electrical design.Min 3 Years Supervisory ExperienceOTHER DUTIES :
