Schedule

12-hour shifts : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM, must work 3 out of the 6 major holidays, and every other weekend is required.

Job Description

As a Psych RN House Supervisor, you will work primarily on the nights shift providing support in a low violence facility that serves a large indigent population with co-occurring and mental health disorders. You will oversee patient care in four units : two acute psychiatric units and two medically assisted detox units.

Responsibilities

Admissions (no admissions overnight)

Medication administration with patients coming to the desk

Conducting assessments and leading medication education groups

Assisting with meals delivered to patients by techs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar psychiatric setting

Required certifications include BLS and CPI (can be obtained onsite)

Must have strong communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
