CVICU RN Job Details Location : Salem, Oregon (97301) – Oregon healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 10, 2025 Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours available) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860 - $2000 per week Setting : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – 30-bed blended unit (18 CVICU, 12 CVIMCU) On-Site Position CVICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience, with a strong cardiovascular background Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon RN license can be pending at submission) BLS and ACLS certifications required Epic charting experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Telemetry nursing skills required CCRN certification preferred CVICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality patient care to adults with complex cardiac diagnoses, including post-cardiac surgery, heart failure, arrhythmias, and advanced cardiac interventions Float between CVICU, CVIMCU, and other critical care units as needed Operate and monitor advanced cardiovascular equipment (IABP, Impella, LVAD / RVAD, CRRT, ventilators, etc.) Interpret arterial blood gases, manage cardiac drips, and respond to critical emergencies Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive clinical support Participate in ongoing training and mentorship programs for professional development Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic EMR Join one of the nation’s Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals and experience the benefits of working in Salem, Oregon’s thriving healthcare community.
