Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative role is a critical position responsible for ensuring superior customer satisfaction while facilitating direct and inside sales for Vexilar. This position acts as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, processes orders, and manages sales through multiple channels, including phone, email, and the company website. A strong technical aptitude and familiarity with key business systems are essential to effectively manage e-commerce integrations and maintain accurate data. The ideal candidate is flexible, customer service-driven, and committed to providing expert support for our fish-finding technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Order Management (50%)
- Manage the sales cycle for direct-to-consumer business including quoting, order entry, and processing of phone and website orders.
- Process and manage e-commerce (website) sales through the online sales platform.
- Accurately enter, track, and manage all sales orders, invoices, and customer data into ERP system
Customer Service & Support (30%)
Serve as a first point of contact for customer inquiries, sales, and order status via phone and email.Coordinate orders internally between sales, accounting, and shipping teams.Technical & System Integration (20%)
Manage, troubleshoot, and coordinate the use of external systems with business-to-business sales channelsProvide flexibility in adapting to new software, technologies, and evolving internal processes.Required Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience in customer service, or inside salesProven experience dealing directly with customers via phone and email.High comfort level with technology and demonstrated ability to quickly learn, navigate, and troubleshoot software and e-commerce toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong telephone etiquette.High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.Legal right to work in the United States and commute to our onsite location in Bloomington MNPreferred Experience :
Previous experience and working knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Oracle NetSuite, Magento, ShopifyBackground in fishing with strong knowledge of techniques and equipment, including fish finders.Benefits :
