Walk On Clinic, Inc. is actively seeking on-site licensed Medical Assistant support for our client in the Sarasota, FL area. This is a 1099 or W2 position.

This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks.

Duties

• Perform patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures
• Administer medications as directed by physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care
• Ability to work in small self-directed teams

Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications :

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Experience in primary care a plus
• Able to perform blood draws

Work Environment

• On-site mobile healthcare clinic
• A large employer in Sarasota County has contracted with Walk On Clinic to provide healthcare services for their employees.
• Work environment is a three-room air-conditioned mobile healthcare unit for conducting employee / patient exams.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided which you will be required to use and wear at all times.
