Job Title : Associate Attorney- Defense

Location : Greenville, SC

Work Setup : 5 Days On-Site (No Flexibility)

About the Role :

Our client is a highly regarded insurance defense firm, is seeking 1–2 Attorneys to join their busy Greenville office. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated litigators looking to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong flow of cases and significant opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and independently handle a high-volume caseload of approximately 100 insurance defense matters.
Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Ensure compliance with billable hour requirements while delivering high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

2 to 10+ years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.

Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar

Strong litigation, case management, and client communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $140k-$210k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
