Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer — Field Services to join our team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of medium- and high-voltage power transformers . The ideal candidate will have proven field experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to produce detailed technical reports while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for transformer-related issues.
  • Perform maintenance, testing, and installation of transformers.
  • Deliver technical consultations and recommend solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and field teams to ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training and guiding junior technicians when required.

Location : Houston, TX (Must be local and willing to travel)

Job Type : Full-Time

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills :

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in transformer maintenance, testing, and installation.
  • Strong technical report-writing skills.
  • Leadership abilities with experience in guiding teams or projects.
  • Proficiency in utility programs and AutoCAD.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel domestically & internationally.
  • Familiarity with industry standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have experience in power transformer assembly.
  • Must have experience in power transformer testing.

    • Level of Experience

  • At least 2-5 years of experience working with transformers.

    Salary $80.000 - $130.000 depending on experience.
