Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist

A leading national health system is actively seeking a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist for a Locum Tenens assignment at a premier community hospital in the Wooster, Ohio area . This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and dedicated professional to provide essential coverage in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details & Setting

  • Position : Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist
  • Setting : On-site at a Community Hospital
  • Unit / Floor : Interventional Radiology
  • Location : Wooster, Ohio area

Scope of Work

You will be responsible for a mix of diagnostic readings and light interventional procedures.

Daily Expectations (per 8-hour shift) :

  • Volume : 90–100 cases
  • wRVUs : 60–70

    • Modalities & Case Mix :

  • Modalities : XR, MR, NM, CT, US, and Fluoroscopy .
  • Case Mix : Diverse, including ER, MSK, Neuro, Nuc Med, Pediatrics, and Fluoroscopy .

    • Required Light IR Procedures :

  • Biopsies : Thyroid, Lung, Bone, Liver, Renal (CT Guided, US Guided)
  • Drainages : Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drainages, Chest Tube, Cysts
  • Lumbar Punctures : Diagnostic Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, Epidural
  • Arthrograms : Joint Injections (Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle)

  • Board Certification - REQUIRED
  • Active Ohio Medical License - REQUIRED
  • DEA Registration - REQUIRED
  • Clean Malpractice History - REQUIRED
