Regulatory Counsel (Spain)

A company is looking for a Regulatory Counsel to support its regulatory strategy and execution across key jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead global licensing efforts for crypto and payments licenses in major jurisdictions

Manage regulator engagements, including preparing business plans and responding to RFIs

Support product development by collaborating with teams to ensure regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

7+ years of legal, compliance, or regulatory experience within fintech, crypto, or financial services

Hands-on experience obtaining or maintaining payment licenses and understanding crypto regulation

Proven ability to manage regulator interactions and lead licensing applications

Experience advising on marketing and communications for regulated services

Experience managing external counsel and coordinating cross-border legal projects
