Responsibilities Work in a 25-bed critical access hospital in the Medical Imaging department Duties include general diagnostic X-ray and a range of ultrasound procedures such as general abdominal, vascular, pelvic, OB, breast, thyroid, and soft tissue exams CT imaging procedures are required Preferred candidates have experience with basic X-rays and echocardiography Equipment includes Toshiba Aplio 500, Toshiba Aplio i700 for ultrasound, and GE Proteus for X-ray Computerized charting and department-specific electronic systems utilized Rotating day shifts with call and rotating weekend call May travel to Inpatient floor or ER for portable ultrasound exams Work closely with a team of 10 staff covering multiple imaging modalities and a radiologist available 24 / 7 by phone Orientation includes HR policies, intranet systems, and department-specific onboarding in Radiology Any color or pattern of scrubs allowed Position includes potential to assist with inpatient and emergency cases as needed References must include one recent supervisor reference within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor in the specialty within the last 3 years Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in ultrasound and CT required ARDMS certification is required; ARRT is beneficial CT experience is required Ability to independently perform the specified ultrasound and X-ray procedures License required if applicable Current BLS certification required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-599382.
