Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Perform application security assessments, code reviews, and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations

Partner with engineering teams to integrate security practices into CI / CD pipelines (DevSecOps)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5 or more years of experience in information security with a focus on application and cloud security

Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security architecture and services

Hands-on experience with application security tools (e.g., Veracode, Checkmarx, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP)

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Security+
