Incumbents in this position will make an immediate and meaningful impact in the lives of Floridians. They perform duties that guarantee qualified health care professionals can work in the state and provide all Floridians access to the health care they need to lead healthier lives. By increasing the number of licensed health care professionals in the state, incumbents also support those currently working in health care professions who are so critical in any public health emergency.
The incumbent will work in a professional, administrative setting and perform duties similar to customer service representatives, medical records, billing, or coding specialists; data entry clerks, or other positions who ensure compliance with regulations or provide professional assistance to members of the public. Knowledge or experience with any health-related field or relevant Florida statutes is helpful but not required.
