As a Security Guard - Commercial Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company or client vehicle. You will play a key role in supporting a welcoming environment while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 11 : 59 PM - 08 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 59 PM - 08 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure environment within the commercial real estate location.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or site updates.

Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
