Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location : Billings, MT

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Billings, MT . This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping residents improve independence, safety, and quality of life through meaningful, functional therapy.

In this role, you’ll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support patients with diverse rehabilitation needs in a long-term care setting.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
  • Provide skilled therapy focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with PTs, OTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and families to support residents' progress
  • Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive equipment and techniques
  • Document services provided and communicate progress to the OT

    • Qualifications :

  • Active Montana COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, clinical, and documentation skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care and functional rehabilitation
