Core Faculty OB / GYN Physician Our client is a premier healthcare organization located in Tampa, FL. They are now seeking Clinical Faculty OBGYNs for a new residency program opening this summer! While providers will have their own practice, they will also be precepting two days a week. The Position : The OB / GYN role is mostly outpatient, private practice, with two days of precepting. Please see details below regarding hospital call, which is limited. Sign On Bonus : $40,000 Relocation Assistance Yes, amount determined case by case Base Salary : $380,000 Additional annual stipend : $15,000 for resident precepting PTO : 26 Days CME : 5 Days Student Loan Forgiveness : Eligible for the SLFP Restrictive Covenant : Yes, one year within a 15 mile radius of practice. 457f Plan Malpractice Insurance Health, Dental and Vision benefits that kick in day one of employment Retirement : 403(b) with matching contributions Life Insurance Short Term & Long Term Disability $100 / mo cell phone stipend Responsibilities : M F (clinic hours) Precept two days per week at the residency clinic Hospital Call 3 shifts per month which are 24 hours in length Up to 24 patients per day Requirements : Full Scope Board Certified OB / GYN with prior experience in Academics Clear and Active Medical License (MD / DO) Provide supervision / precepting twice a week, the residency will begin with only three students each year. Hospital Call : Each provider will take five on-call shifts per month. Call shifts are 12 hours in length. Regarding the interview process, candidates will have to give a grand round presentation as part of the on-site interview. Hospital Call 3 shifts per month which are 24 hours in length. Must be willing to do deliveries. Up to 24 patients per day Spanish speaking Provider is highly preferred, but not required.
