The Occupational Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence by providing expert guidance, support, and training to reduce workplace hazards. This role ensures daily compliance with all applicable government regulations and Nestle policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks through comprehensive assessments and collaborative action planning. A key focus of this position is injury management and the administration of occupational health claims. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective safety strategies, promote employee well-being, and drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

Provide SH&E Leadership

• Champion a culture where safety and health are a core value.
• Coordinate, support, and deliver SH&E department training programs to ensure regulatory compliance and workforce competency.
• Offer guidance and leadership in the development and execution of health initiatives.
• Oversee and advise on injury or illness incident investigations to ensure thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely and complete follow-up on incidents to reduce future risk exposure and maintain accurate documentation.
• Manage workers' compensation reporting and related processes.
