The Opportunity

As a Tax Manager, you'll see firsthand the financial services industry by being immersed in the evolving state and local tax environment through a diverse set of experiences in serving banking, capital markets, insurance and wealth and asset management clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

It's fair to say there's no average day for a Sales and Use Tax Manager - so you're likely to spend your time on a diverse array of projects, responsibilities and tasks. Whatever you're working on, our clients will turn to you for up-to-the-minute tax advice they can always rely on. To make that happen, you'll be working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is an essential part of the role.

• Analyzing an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights
• Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to our clients
• Learning and researching current market trends, to maintain your credibility as a trusted advisor

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $104,100 to $190,700. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $124,900 to $216,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
