Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician

VCA Madera Pet Hospital is looking for experienced Veterinary Assistant / Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a multi doctor practice located in Corte Madera (Marin County, CA). Our ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years of experience. In this position you will be supporting our DVMs and Vet Tech team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

Candidate must be proficient in :

• Providing compassionate care for patients
• Venipuncture
• IV catheter placement
• Hands free radiography (patients are sedated if needed)
• Bandage placement
• Maintaining medical records via EMR
• Patient restraint
• SQ, IM, IV injections
• Experience monitoring anesthesia or performing dental prophies / radiographs is a plus!

Pay is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
