Midland. MI needs GI Locums that will not see patients in the clinic

Responsibilities

Clinic, Call, or Both :

Call and Inpatient coverage

Schedule :

• Monday morning to the following Monday morning)
• Two weeks per month.
• The locum will cover the hospital, ED, and phone calls from sites across our health system when they are on duty.

Cases / Procedures :

Approximately 4-8 consults / rounds per day

Anesthesia is in house 24 / 7

Clinical support : 3 IR physicians

APP support Monday-Thursday

EMR : Epic

Required experience, training, and certifications :

One year actively practicing as a Gastroenterologist

Case Logs :

24 patient encounters' in the past 12 months

Consider IMLC or waiting for a license :

MI License or IMLC required

Credentialing Timeframe :

30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
