SpeechCom Inc is hiring a full-time, special education teacher, with a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Cross Categorical License (801) for the 2025-26 school year.
Rate of Pay : $40 - $50 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
Hours : Full-Time, 40 hour work week, with a 7.5 hour billable day
Details :
- Will work with elementary students at the middle childhood-early adolescent level.
- Will work with other service providers.
- Must have a Cross Categorical, Department of Instruction License (801)

Requirements : Responsibilities :
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needsMeet the diverse learning styles and abilities of studentsDevelop individualized academic goalsUtilize learning technology and assistive devices to enhance student learningCreate a positive and inclusive environment for studentsUse effective behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive social skillsCollaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each studentMonitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as neededExperience :
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field Experience working with students with special needs in a classroom settingKnowledge of learning disabilities, developmental delays, and other special education needsFamiliarity with behavior management techniques and strategiesProficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development for diverse learnersStrong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and studentsLicensing Requirements :
