Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Horicon, WI - Full Time

Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Horicon, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform manufacturing engineering work for a project or process. The role operates in a team environment within either the enterprise product delivery process or the enterprise order fulfillment process. At this level, projects are of limited scope and responsibility; work plans and decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors and / or managers. The candidate may assign, coordinate, and review portions of the work for support personnel and contractors.

Duties

  • Spend approximately 50% of the day working on the shop floor.
  • Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs, though this will be infrequent.
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization.
  • May drive a JD Gator inside the factory after completing training.
  • May drive a personal vehicle to other facilities for meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, etc.) or 5+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for all levels of organization.
  • Assembly process and tooling knowledge.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and tooling.
