Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Human Resources Intern to join our team. This position provides hands-on experience in various HR functions including recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR operations. In this role, you will gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle and contribute to meaningful HR projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, onboarding, and offboarding within the Paylocity systemHelp maintain and organize confidential employee files and HR documentationRespond to internal HR-related inquiries and direct them to appropriate team membersSupport recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviewsShadow candidate phone screens to observe interview techniques and assist in assessing candidate fitParticipate in new hire orientation and assist facilitating sessionsAssist in the development and improvement of training materials, presentations, and e-learning contentHelp plan and execute employee engagement initiatives through budget tracking, coordination, and internal communicationRequirements : Qualifications :
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferredActive involvement in campus, community, or other volunteer activities and / or organizations preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of confidentiality and professionalismExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Interest in learning and contributing to a variety of HR functionsPrior internship or office experience a plus, but not requiredCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa statusWhat you’ll Gain
