job_description.job_card.job_description$1500 Employment bonus - paid within 60 days of employment 401(k) with employer match Bachelor's degree in Social Work (Master's preferred) or Master's degree in Counseling. Ohio Clinical licensure required : LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC (independent license strongly preferred). Experience treating individuals with substance use diagnoses and facilitating substance use therapeutic groups preferred. SUD certification / license strongly preferred. Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct. Treat others with Christ-like attitude, while helping them experience their worth in Christ, and demonstrating behaviors reflecting CCHO's core values of Relentless Commitment, Selflessness, and Kindness. TEAM first. Provide individual and / or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan. Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses. Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client. Complete a level of care (LOC) assessment during intake to determine client substance use treatment needs. Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes. Participate in Peer / case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.

Combining exceptional clinical skills and faith, the SUD Counselor at Encompass Christian Counseling compassionately works with clients to provide mental health and substance use counseling services.
Part-time Outpatient Counselors have a minimum weekly productivity expectation of 10 billable hours.

This position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug test, satisfactory reference checks, as well as the completion of a satisfactory Department of Justice National Sex Offender search and Ohio Alleged Perpetrator Search, as required by our licensing agency.
Candidates must be 21 or older to apply. References, background checks, and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Must have valid Ohio Driver's License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable. EOE.
