Administrative Assistant I
The Town of Estes Park seeks qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant I in the Town Clerk's Office. Under the direction of the Town Clerk, the Administrative Assistant position performs specialized and responsible clerical and administrative work. Work is varied and unpredictable, handles operational and administrative details, and works with considerable independence within the scope of established policies and procedures. This position works closely with the public and a variety of Town departments and staff. Areas of concentration include; processing Vacation and Business licenses, assisting with Municipal Court duties and working with the Town Board by taking meeting minutes and supporting logistical needs. The ideal candidate for this position will have an interest in building a skillset in process design improvement and work flows for electronic tools such as Laserfiche.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Some post-secondary education or training in a related field. Level I : Minimum two (2) years of clerical, administrative or secretarial experience in a professional office setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : May be required to be a Notary Public depending on assignment.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT : None
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBLE : This position is in-person, regular full time, 40 hours per week. Some evening work required due to schedule of Town Board meetings.
