Job Description :

Responsible to the Production Manager or Manager on duty for various preparation activities, organization, and clean-up of dessert & related areas.

  • Prepare sandwiches and salads for The Global Café / Fred's, sack lunches for campus groups, special diet requests. (School year August through May. June, July, and part of August would be helping in various stations within our department.)
  • Help slice meat, cheeses & vegetables for our Deli station.
  • Set up the dessert area for lunch and clean up area after meals.
  • Help with baking items for the next day and with special diets.

Requirements :

  • Pleasant, positive attitude and clean and neat appearance a must.
  • Attention to customer service, satisfaction and attention to detail is very important in this position.
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • One to two years of effective food service experience needed.
  • ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain.
