We invite you to come join Shin Imaging Center, Rezolut company as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist. This is a Part-time position and is located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging practice in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities / Duties :

  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • May occasionally travel to our nearby outpatient centers to help with coverage if needed.

Qualifications

Requirements :

  • Two (2) years as an MRI technologist in a full-service Radiology / MRI Department.
  • MRI Safety Computer skills for operating within RIS / PACS, medical terminology, good communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete job-related communication and arithmetic calculations.
  • Certification in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (MR) or AMRIT.
  • Must have 3T closed unit experience
  • Venipuncture / IV contrast Administration Certificate required
  • BLS
  • Bilingual preferred but not required

    Salary : $33 - $40 per hour

    Schedule :

  • 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm

  • Los Angeles, CA : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

    • License / Certification :

  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • ARRT Certification (Preferred)
