Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a school setting in the Joliet, IL area. This contract position will span the full school year and involves supporting a diverse K-12 caseload with occupational therapy services. This role is ideal for therapists experienced in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within a school environment
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) through tailored intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in pliance with school district guidelines
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student within the caseload

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Illinois state OT licensure required before the assignment begins
  • Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload across diverse student ages and needs
