The purpose of the Project Manager 2, Trucks role is to ensure the effective implementation and management of Incentive Projects and other CALSTART initiatives. This involves educating and training stakeholders, improving technical systems, streamlining administrative processes, and ensuring data management and reporting. By coordinating with internal teams and engaging external stakeholders, the role will support project successes and foster strong relationships within the industry and with regulatory bodies.

The Project Manager 2, Trucks role will support external stakeholders by educating and training dealers and equipment purchasers, addressing their inquiries, and assisting with Salesforce technical issues to ensure smooth participation in the incentive projects. For internal stakeholders, the role will streamline project administration, update incentive websites and equipment catalogs, and handle data acquisition and reporting. They will lead the development of standard operating procedures, help organize events and webinars, draft communications, and ensure coordinated efforts and effective project execution. This role also involves collaborating with internal teams and engaging with industry participants and funders to maintain stakeholder relationships and support the overall success of CALSTART initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead dealer education initiative and involvement, training dealers and purchasers on participating in the incentive projects.
• Assist with all tasks related to administering incentive projects.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with participating OEMs and dealers.
• Input new OEMs, Dealers, and Equipment to the Voucher Processing Center catalog.
• Help with monthly data acquisition, validation, and reporting.
• Use CALSTART CRM systems to keep and maintain records and perform and track daily tasks.
• Lead the development of standard operating procedures.
• Support organizing and attending project-related workshops, events, forums, presentations, and webinars.
• Assist with other tasks or other CALSTART initiatives as requested.

CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $72,000-$85,760. Pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to the job.
