Securities Litigation Associate

Overview

Freshfields US is seeking a highly qualified associate to join our Securities Litigation practice in our Silicon Valley office. Ideal candidates will be class year 2021-2023 and have experience at a leading Am Law firm. Candidates in the class year of 2021-2022 will ideally have prior securities litigation experience. Admission to the CA Bar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Have prior experience at a leading Am Law firm.
• Have experience with securities-related disputes and investigations. This is particularly preferred for candidates applying in the class year of 2021-2022.
• Have hands-on experience advising on litigation cases.
• Possess strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and be eager to work closely with partners, counsel, and colleagues across practice groups.
• Be proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams efficiently.

About the Team

Our Silicon Valley Securities Litigation group is dynamic and deeply integrated with Freshfields’ global platform. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that plays a critical role in advising multinational corporations.

Compensation

Freshfields US LLP associates are compensated based on leading market rates. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $235,000–$310,000, commensurate with experience, and the firm provides bonuses to associates in good standing consistent with the California and New York legal markets.
