American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of acute care MRI experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and Epic experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Acute care hospital setting with two scanners at the main hospital and three outpatient clinic sitesEvening shifts Monday through Friday from 3 : 00 p.m. to 11 : 30 p.m., 8-hour shiftsMRI department performs a wide range of studies including brain, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, cardiac, prostate, musculoskeletal, and imaging of patients with implanted devicesAverage daily caseload is approximately 28 scansUses Epic EMR and Sectra PACS for imaging and documentationEquipment includes GE 1.5T and 3T systems at the hospital, with Philips and Hitachi in outpatient areasMay be required to float to other areas based on operational needsParticipation in standby and holiday rotations is requiredDaily responsibilities include performing a wide range of MRI diagnostic studies and researching implanted devices prior to imagingMay occasionally float to cover additional sites or operational needsRadiology aides assist MRI technologists as part of the support teamRadiologist is on-site for imaging interpretation and consultationMust be N95 fit testedDepartment-specific orientation is providedPersonal scrubs are required; hospital scrubs provided only for OR staffVolunteering for weekend shifts is optional but not required\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in an acute care settingARRT certification is required (ARMRIT only accepted if ARRT (MR) boards are also completed and passed)Current BLS for Healthcare Providers requiredWashington State Radiologic Technologist license required if certified by ARRT in X-ray or CT; license required if applicableIV skills requiredExperience with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS preferredMust provide two professional references : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years\n Benefits\n
