Job Description : Service Advisor at Max Motors Dealerships
Max Motors Dealerships is a leading automotive dealership, specializing in new and used vehicles, and we are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in providing exceptional automotive services to our customers. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service department, while providing top-notch customer service to all our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
Act as the main point of contact for all service-related inquiries and concerns from customers
Assist customers with scheduling service appointments, and ensuring their vehicles are serviced in a timely and efficient manner
Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs
Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any necessary repairs
Provide accurate estimates and communicate any additional services or repairs needed to customers
Handle customer complaints and ensure they are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner
Maintain thorough and accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new service techniques to continuously improve our service standards
Collaborate with the sales team to promote and upsell service packages to customers
Ensure the service department is clean, organized, and equipped with all necessary tools and supplies
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training in automotive repair is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
Solid understanding of automotive systems and terminology
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Proficient in computer skills and experience using automotive service software
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Working Conditions :
The Service Advisor will work in a dealership environment, often standing for extended periods and may be required to lift up to 50lbs. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings.
