Job Summary
Design and draft Traffic Control Plans in AutoCAD using standards from the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH). The position will be under the supervision of a Design Manager and collaborate with the team.
Essential Duties
Draft temporary traffic control plans and layouts.
Create base plans using all available resources.
Must be able to read and apply knowledge of Civil Construction Plans.
Coordinate with Project Managers
Manage document control
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or in a related field; Associate degree in an Electrical discipline also considered.
5+ years of experience in Construction Management and / or Engineering.
Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications and contract documents.

Knowledge
AutoCAD
Windows Environment
Windows Office Suite
Google Earth / Maps
Knowledge of traffic control plans
