The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers alternate their role based on store needs, predominantly performing the role of Coordinator and occasionally acting as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. Key Carriers must have open availability, including nights and weekends. Role models exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include : creating a positive internal and external customer experience; promoting a culture of honesty and integrity; maintaining confidentiality; acting as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure; ensuring store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizing as needed; addressing immediate customer service issues and providing appropriate coaching to Associates; exercising discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers; maintaining accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience; ensuring Associates adhere to all operational procedures; ensuring opening / closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines; communicating accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; providing progress updates; providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback; providing feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates; partnering with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness; ensuring adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures; promoting credit and loyalty programs; supporting and participating in shrink reduction goals and programs; promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment; and other duties as assigned.

We're looking for someone who is able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; is a team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors; is able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations; has knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures; has knowledge of merchandise flow in stores; has proven problem solving skills; is able to effectively coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple people / tasks; is able to act quickly under challenging circumstances; is capable of multi-tasking; has superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail; and has 1 year retail, 6 months leadership experience.
