The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant / Development Associate to join our leadership team in a role that's part strategic partner, part innovation catalyst, and part organizational backbone. This isn't your typical administrative positionyou'll be the Chief Academic Officer's (CAO) right hand while building our development department from the ground up. Working directly with our CAO, you'll be at the heart of everything that drives our mission forward. From anticipating leadership needs and managing high-stakes communications to identifying new funding opportunities and streamlining technology operations, you'll have your fingerprints on every aspect of our organizational growth. What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Partnership & Executive Support
- Serve as the CEO's trusted advisor and primary liaison, keeping them informed and prepared for every opportunity
- Act as the organizational "pulse-taker," staying connected to school community dynamics and emerging issues
- Manage high-level communications with internal teams, board members, and external partners
- Coordinate executive meetings, retreats, and strategic planning sessions
Development & Relationship Building
Identify and cultivate relationships with key funders and potential funding pipelinesCreate and manage grant application calendars and deadlinesCollaborate with staff, Board, and The Friends of Foundation on targeted grant submissionsBuild lasting external relationships that fuel organizational growthOperations & Innovation
Develop and refine office policies and procedures that scale with our growthManage vendor relationships and procurement for equipment, services, and suppliesOversee information systems, including hardware, software, and internal communicationsLead contract negotiations and management with key stakeholdersCoordinate staff onboarding and organizational eventsCommunications & Design
