job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in applied behavioral analysis, psychology, special education, social work, public health counseling, or a similar degree Must be currently licensed as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Valid CPR / First Aid Certification 1 year working with people with developmental disabilities With 1 year of supervised experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities involving behavioral assessment and the development of behavior support plans Have demonstrated experience in positive behavior support and / or applied behavior analysis Demonstrate superior knowledge of the function of behaviors and the use of Functional Behavior Analysis for the development of program goals and intervention plans Drug screening College of Direct Support - Online classes for DDD Certifications Vehicle for Community Transport 2 years Behavioral Experience HIGHLY Competitive Pay Medical Benefits through Horizon BCBS (70% Employee Premium covered by Alay) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time off / Sick Time
ALAY Home Care is looking for Board Certified Behavior Analysts who are Caring, Compassionate and Dependable team members to assist individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
Pay Rate : $65 / hr
Responsibilities :
- Adapt techniques to reduce interfering behaviors such as persistent repetition and self-injury
- Provide caring support during family conversations to ensure parents fully understand assessment results and treatment recommendations
- Advocate for your clients by monitoring for potential issues and communicating concerns
- Complete assessment of the challenging behavior(s), development of a structured behavioral modification plan, implementation of the plan, ongoing training and supervision of caregivers and behavioral aides, and periodic reassessment of the plan.
