About The Role
The Hospitality Financial Planning Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial health and growth of our hospitality operations, including restaurants, events, and all other food & beverage venues including all support facilities. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, building forecasts, and partnering with business leaders to provide actionable insights. The analyst will ensure accurate financial reports and analytics to optimize performance, develop tools that aid key operational decision-making in a dynamic, guest-centric environment.
What You Will Do
Reporting & Analysis
- Conduct financial, ad-hoc, and scenario testing analyses to gain insights and provide key recommendations to management to enhance financial performance and guest loyalty using all financial and source system data across all verticals within hospitality.
- Develop variance analysis against budget and forecast to identify key trends and performance highlights.
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, highlighting KPIs such as revenue per cover, average check, labor costs, and food & beverage costs.
- Track and analyze capital expenditures, develop ROI on new initiatives, and performance of programs and promotions to drive foot traffic and augment customer spend.
Business Support
Partner with operations teams to identify revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies.Provide financial models for new projects, menu changes, vendor negotiations, and staffing models.Support pricing strategies and margin optimization for food, beverage, and event offerings.Financial Planning & Forecasting
Support the development, maintenance, and oversight of the hospitality operations budgets and rolling forecasts including but not limited to : restaurants, bars, catering, events, & F&B support facilities.Partner with General Managers, Operations, and Culinary teams to create accurate forecasts tied to seasonality, guest / cover counts, and event calendars.Support annual budgeting processes, including variance analysis and consolidation across business units.Data Integrity & Systems
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data by maintaining close alignment with accounting.Leverage POS, HRIS, Financial Reporting & Accounting and labor management systems (e.g., Toast, Workday, Craftable, Tripleseat, Power BI, and D365) to integrate financial and operational insights.Assist in implementation and optimization of financial reporting tools and dashboards.About You
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.24 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience, ideally in hospitality, F&B, or multi-unit operations.Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling) and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Experience with hospitality industry systems (POS, scheduling, HRIS, inventory management).Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and hospitality cost structures.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with culinary, operations, and executive leadership.Ability to make qualified estimates and judgements.Compensation range : $73,000 $100,000
