We are currently seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our project team. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the project, delivering exceptional results, and maintaining our commitment to quality and safety. The salary range is $90k - 120k annually (negotiable depending on experience). We offer a competitive salary, great benefits, and excellent work culture.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry
- Knowledge of excavation, foundation work, and piping systems
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.)
- Hands-on experience with both concrete and steel structures
- Knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD / MS Project is preferred
- OSHA 30-hr certification (within the last five years preferred)
- Desire to work in a field environment with client personnel and construction crews
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
Responsibilities :
Day-to-day interaction with subcontractors during their field operations and client’s field representativesPrepare and submit daily reportsTrack quantities and hours for field activitiesMonitor the progress of field construction activities to assure compliance with project plans and specificationsAssist in preparing and submitting look ahead schedulesRFI’s including preparing, submitting, and trackingOrder daily construction supplies, maintain field purchase log and process change ordersObtain and manage road closure permits and maintain a permit logParticipate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, safety meetings, and safety trainingsTrack equipment and materialsWhat We Offer :
